Simone + Paris are talking about the chapter in “Big Friendship” that you all didn’t know you needed until now: Shine Theory (TM).

In short, when you shine, I shine!

How do you feel about the success of your friends? Is there that little envious demon inside of you? Or do you celebrate their wins as if they were your own?

The author’s of “Big Friendship” introduce their take on what it really means to support one another with the introduction of Shine Theory (TM) — and Simone opens this episode up with one of the biggest compliments Paris has ever received: that this chapter remined Simone extensively of Paris.

Supporting one another through the gaggle of life, encouraging your friends to demand more for themselves (often even at a minimum what they deserve!), and channeling some of the envy of your friend’s abilities into something positive and motivating for yourself, is just the tip of the iceberg in this episode!

Fun stuff we mention:

Simone suggested (and Paris agreed) that “Knock Down the House”, the documentary about U.S. Representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is a glaring example of Shine Theory being practiced in U.S. politics.
