Episode 16: A Friendship Tricycle — Perugia Edition II

Right before the European world went into it’s second lockdown of the year, Paris visited Simone and André in Perugia for a “staycation”. The three of us had a low key relaxing weekend avoiding people by mostly staying at home, baking and cooking, eating, working out, and of course, chatting.

As is no surprise this episode starts with a bit of a gigglefest…this time Simone is prepared after the experience with Edition I. We learn a little bit more about friendship in marriage and FINALLY hear the Penny origin story. As we also spent a few nights of this visit lounging on the couch (or even in the bed!) with some movies and TV shows, we were reminded of how much we love the world of Studio Ghibli.

Fun stuff we mention:

André: suggests to order from Little Bird Bakeshop in Fort Collins, CO to make lockdown more tasty.

Paris: talks about My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, and Studio Ghibli in general.

Simone and André: highly suggest checking out Avatar — The Last Air Bender for a wonderful animated TV series to ease the soul.

The Three of Us: recommend Terre Margaritelli for amazing wine, great hosts, and fabulous food. Next time you’re in the region…grab a bottle…or six.

Simone: recommends Everything Is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo and Deep Work by Cal Newport as great reads for productivity inspiration.
